Veterans County Service Officer David Salinas and Texas Veterans Commission Health Care Advocate Phillip Davila

Can Veterans County Service Officers (VCSO) and Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) Health Care Advocates work together to better serve veterans? Yes, they can; meet David Salinas (left) and Phillip Davila (right). Salinas is the Jim Wells County VCSO and U.S. Marine veteran. In addition to assisting veterans with filing claims, Salinas works with Justice Involved Veterans, suicide prevention programs, and more. Davila is a U.S. Navy Veteran and a TVC Health Care Advocate for 20 counties. Based out of Corpus Christi, Davila works together with VCSOs throughout his region to assist veterans throughout the area with getting medical appointments and referrals, prescriptions and other medical needs.
