The Texas Veterans Commission’s (TVC) Fund for Veterans Assistance (FVA) awards annual grants to non-profit organizations and local governments who provide a wide range of assistance to veterans and their families ranging from financial to transportation, legal services to family support services and home modification to rental and mortgage assistance. On March 20, 2020, The TVC Commissioners approved emergency funding procedures for current FVA Grant organizations to request additional funding for providing critical services to Texas veterans and their families throughout the COVID-19 State of Emergency.
