Earning top employment services awards from the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and the American Legion, Department of Texas are Katasha Gray and Tanya Huling. Both work in the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) Employment Services North District.
Gray was awarded as Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist of the Year by the DAV and American Legion. Huling received the Local Veteran Employer Representative of the Year from both organizations. Gray is a Veteran Career Advisor, helping veterans with their search for employment and with their job seeking skills. Huling, a Veteran Employer Liaison, develops relationships with businesses and organizations to facilitate the matching of their needs to skilled veterans.
The American Legion awards recognize their high rate of placing veterans into full time employment, their drive to help veterans overcome barriers to employment, outreach to employers and onboarding new employment staff. Congratulations to Tanya and Katasha.
