The American Legion Department of Texas honored TVC with awards and a featured speaker role at it’s recent statewide convention, held July 13, 2024 in Denton.
Recognized for their outstanding work to “ensure the economic well-being of veterans” were TVC Employment Services team members Veronica Rodriguez and Joshua Pinson.
Rodriquez earned the American Legion’s Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist Employment Service Award. Rodriquez is a TVC Veteran Career Advisor, South Texas District, and a Navy veteran.
Pinson earned the American Legion’s Local Veterans Employment Representative Award Employment Service Award. Pinson, an Army veteran is TVC Veteran Employment Liaison, Central Texas District.

TVC Executive Director Tom Palladino was a featured speaker for the convention opening.
