Veteran Overview

One of my distinguishing times in the Corps was being the team leader for a detachment of 10 by the Syrian border in which we worked side by side with some of the most outstanding Marines of 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance. We had nothing and everything; it was a time of where we developed true camaraderie and esprit de corps. I was also a part of the Marine Security Guard Battalion, a Drill Instructor, and Marine Barracks Washington, 8th and I. The highest tribute in my military career was being part of the honor guard for 159 Marines, Sailors, and 1 Soldier.
