I am a proud military nurse. I joined the Navy Nurse Corps, right out of college, in 1972. Served in Corpus Christi NAS and Jacksonville NAS. Transitioned to Navy Reserve while attending Graduate school to become a Nurse Practitioner. Used those skills, as well as my leadership abilities grown in the military, in the Wisconsin Air National Guard and a strong 52 year civilian nursing career.
