USA Cares will provide financial assistance to pay rent, mortgage, utilities, and transportation expenses for Texas veterans and active-duty service members. This will support their basic needs and will reduce - or better yet eliminate - financial stress, poverty, homelessness and other risk factors for veteran suicide.
All clients are asked to apply on our website. If they do not have internet access or their disability makes completion of the application difficult, a staff member will complete the intake over the telephone. The application can be found here: https://usacares.org/state-veteran-application/
