Description
Veterans Treatment Court Services are provided by Ellis County, a Unit of Local Government based in Waxahachie, Texas 75165.
Veterans who have suffered a mental disease or illness (eligible under Chapter 124 of the Government Code) that contributes to criminal conduct will be eligible to apply for participation in our specialty court that will seek Veteran-specific assistance through the VA and our local VSO. If the program is successfully completed, they will be given a discharge plan to maintain their success and the criminal case against them will be dismissed under Chapter 124.
