I am proud to have served in the US Navy from 2002-2006 because my service began right after 9/11 and I was immediately deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom (OIF/OEF). I was able to serve my country during a very volatile time as well as see the world and meet people that I am still in touch with today, that I call "family".
