The City of El Paso’s Mass Transit Department, Sun Metro, is seeking general assistance funding to provide veterans, their dependents, and surviving spouses with free public transportation passes. In addition, eligible beneficiaries will be able to utilize Sun Metro's fixed routes and Living Independently Facilitated Transportation (LIFT) paratransit service at no cost, which would make a profound difference in the lives of many El Paso veterans.
