Veteran Overview

I went in the Navy after graduating High School and a semester of College at Texas Womens University in Denton Texas. I was young and wanted to find my own way in the world and find my way I did. Boot camp was in Orlando Florida. First duty station was in Andros Island Bahamas then to Guam USA then to San Diego Navcams. I was a Radioman. Being a woman in the military in the early 80’s wasn't the best experience for me but I wish it been the experience I sought.
