I first joined Active Duty Army in 2008 and was discharged in 2012. I joined the US Army Reserves in 2014. Serving in the military has given me much insight of just how precious life truly is. It has given me the ability to be a productive member of society, a compassionate leader, and the privilege of motherhood.
