Veteran Overview

I am the only female veteran in my direct family line. My paternal grandfather (Army) and maternal grandfather (Navy) served during WWII, my father (Army) served during the Vietnam conflict, and I served in the US Navy as a Corpsman just before, during and after Gulf War. My son served in the US Navy at the time of 9/11 and Operation Enduring Freedom. I am so proud to come from a family that has valued service.
