Veteran Overview

I am proud to have served my country just like my Great Aunt did in the Marine Corps during WWII. I was in service when sexual harassment was first recognized by the military, when females were not allowed in combat. I served in a mostly male dominated job. I was one of 2 females in school and was the only female in a shop with 2 dozen men. In the last months before my discharge 2 more women were brought into my shop. My hope was that with my dedication and hard work it made the path for the females that followed me in service a little easier.
