Veteran Overview

I wanted to serve my country during Vietnam, because my fiance and all of my friends had to go to war, and many did not make it home. I just wanted to do my part, and I was proud to do so. My father was in World War II, and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service when he was 18 years old. My brother was also in the Navy, stationed in California. I wanted to be like my family and serve our country.
