Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) Vice Chair and U.S. Army veteran Mary Dale presented Veterans Education Excellence Awards to seven universities and colleges at the Texas Association of Collegiate Veteran Program Officials Conference. The event was held February 25 in Austin.
“These colleges and universities ensure our veterans and their dependents receive the education they have earned in an environment that fosters academic success,” said Dale.
TVC’s Veteran Education Excellence Award honors Texas public institutions of higher education that significantly support the academic success of veteran and military connected students and provide outstanding services and environments for them.
The schools presented awards at the conference were: Collin College, Dallas College, Lee College, Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences, University of North Texas and University of Texas at Dallas.
