The Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) has opened a Claims office in Cedar Park. The office assists veterans in claiming the benefits they have earned through filing disability compensation claims with the VA. The service is provided at no charge to the veteran.
Opened in February, the new Cedar Park office offers area veterans an alternative to traveling to TVC Claims offices in other locations such as southeast Austin and Fort Hood.
“Opening a new office is a great opportunity to help more veterans!” said Mike Munoz, Air Force Veteran and TVC Claims Benefits Advisor (CBA) at the new Cedar Park location. “People are surprised and elated when they find out TVC is here. Many veterans no longer have to travel long distances, or travel to multiple locations to get help with claims.” Munoz is an experienced CBA with over four years of service with the TVC.
The new TVC Claims office is located inside the VA medical facility in Cedar Park at 1401 Medical Parkway, building C, Room 492. It may be reached by phone at 1-800-423-2111 ext. 50189. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
TVC Claims Advisors provide one-on-one assistance to veterans in filing VA claims and appeals. The TVC operates more than 46 Claims offices across Texas. Find out how Claims may help and to make a claims appointment, please visit the Claims webpage at https://www.tvc.texas.gov/claims/.
