Business relief resources available for COVID-19 impact

Texas veteran business owners are facing multiple challenges as entrepreneurs brought on by the Coronavirus COVID-19 emergency. For business owners, resources are available to help provide relief to the impact caused by the state of emergency including the following.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) is providing business guidance and loan resources. For more information click on SBA COVID-19 resources.

The Texas Women’s University Center for Women Entrepreneurs has launched the AssistHer COVID-19 Emergency Relief Grant. The grant is to assist woman-owned businesses that have been severely impacted by Coronavirus COVID-19. For more information, click AssistHer.

The USDA is providing ways to help farmers and ranchers during the COVID-19 crisis. This includes changes to Farm Loan, Disaster, Conservation, Safety Net Programs and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The CARES Act contains $9.5 billion in assistance for agriculture producers who have been impacted by COVID-19 along with a $14 billion replenishment to the Commodity Credit Corporation, which funds many of USDA’s programs for farmers.
