Veterans across the Panhandle will have the opportunity to access on-the-spot benefits assistance, claims support and critical services in one place at the Panhandle Veterans Expo in Amarillo on June 13, 2026.
Hosted by the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) in partnership with the Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB), the free, one-day event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Amarillo Civic Center, South Exhibit Hall, 401 S. Buchanan Street. From claims assistance and education benefits to land loans, home loans, healthcare resources, community partners, food, and fellowship, events like this serve as a reminder to veterans and their families that in Texas they are never alone.
“Too many veterans and their families are unaware of the free benefits and services available to them or don’t know where to begin,” said TVC Executive Director and Army veteran Thomas Palladino. “This Panhandle Veterans Expo brings trusted organizations together in one location, making it easier for veterans to get answers, connect with resources, and access the benefits they have earned through their service to our nation. Our goal is simple; connect veterans with the help they need.”
The expo is designed to remove barriers and deliver immediate support, connecting veterans and their families directly with federal and state benefits, healthcare resources, and community-based services. Experienced claims advisors will provide guidance and assistance, helping veterans take meaningful steps forward the same day.
Attendees can also enjoy a complimentary lunch sponsored by Bell Flight and Heroes Home Care.
Texas is home to more than 1.5 million veterans, the largest veteran population in the nation, making events like the Panhandle Veterans Expo essential for ensuring those who served have access to the benefits and services they’ve earned.
Veterans, service members, and their families are encouraged to attend. Find more information and register at Panhandle Veterans Expo.
