Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month
According to the National Center for PTSD, posttraumatic stress disorder is slightly more common among Veterans than civilians; where at some point in their life, 7 out of every 100 Veterans will have PTSD. This month, the Veterans Mental Health Department wants to bring awareness to PTSD so we can continue to reduce mental health stigmas and educate our communities on treatment and resources.
