TPWD will be hosting multiple hikes throughout the month of September at 15 different parks across the state to help bring awareness to the communities. Local organizations and resources will be on site. Each park will be offering something a little different.

*Balmorhea State Park will host a swim race- email emily.dickerson@tpwd.texas.gov to register for the race
*Cooper Lake State Park will host a kayaking event
*Dinosaur Valley State Park will be hosting a “sunrise” yoga session, 9/11 survivor Senator Birdwell will be a guest speaker, and a memorial for local marine Ethan Sullivan (from the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines “Forgotten Battalion”)
*Eisenhower State Park-cancelled

Texas Parklands Passports include free passes for Disabled Veteran, Veteran, Active Duty, and Gold Star – visit the park prior to the event to prevent a delay at the gate.
