I am proud of my military service because I took a chance on me at 17 and left everything I knew to serve this country in a way that I was not familiar with. I literally grew up in the military. I learned a lot about myself and gained so much confidence being in spaces where I was usually the "only one". I served with honor and still continue to live my life in honor.
