I first joined the Air Force as a way to have a job and finish my degree but that turned into a long and distinguished career which I couldn't be more thankful for. I enlisted as Security Police (now Security Forces). I deployed numerous times and enjoyed the career field but it wasn't conducive to family life so I applied and was accepted to OTS. I commissioned as a Personnel Officer and over the years we eventually became known as Force Support encompassing Manpower, Personnel and Services. I've worked at all levels of command and retired in 2015. Now I continue to serve our military in my role at USAA.
