Descripción general de veteranos

The 1980s was an important decade where significant advances were made for women to serve their country. I was among an extremely small percentage of women serving as a Cryptologist in the US Navy. While I was still not able to deploy on any combatant vessels, I was still able to serve in an operational environment albeit in an administrative position. That said, during this decade, the percentage of military positions and occupations open to women increased allowing women more diverse choices in their military service.
