I am proud to have served my country for the amazing opportunities I was given and continue to receive. I joined to advance my career during the 9/11 attacks when I felt called as an American to help serve where I was needed most. It was a great opportunity because I learned so much about myself and made connections for a lifetime. I was able to see the world that I never thought I was ever going to see outside of my small town. Serving in the United States Navy still gives me opportunities today and I am very fortunate and grateful for everyday.
