Experiencing trauma and PTSD can be isolating. However, artmaking can help us connect with others through our experiences and foster empathy and respect. This Year the Austin Veteran Arts Festival will present “Art and Healing: My PTSD Experience”. The deadline for entries is September 25. This interactive art exhibit presents stories of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as told by veterans through creative art. The exhibit includes work from servicemembers across all branches of the military.
The exhibit will be open to the public on October 14, 2024, at the Public Garden, Austin Community College -Highland, Austin, TX. Get your entries in Now!
