Support Services are provided by Hale County Meals on Wheels, Inc., a Unit of Local Government based in Plainview, Texas 79072.
To provide a hot, nutritious noon time meal, friendly visit and safety check of the client and their home each weekday by volunteers to veterans over 65, disabled veterans under 65, their dependents and/or surviving spouses who are homebound, need assistance to leave home, are unable to prepare well-balanced meals or do not have anyone to prepare meals for them. A “Snow Box” consisting of shelf stable food to be used in the case inclement will also be provided.
