The Rides 4 TX Heroes grant program will provide transportation and referrals for mobility and service resources for veterans, veteran dependents, and surviving spouses living within the 13-county Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) region. This request includes door-to-door transportation/ride scheduling for veterans, veteran dependents, and surviving spouses of veterans for medical appointments, employment, education, grocery shopping, and other essential transportation needs.
