UWTC Texas Veterans Network Intake Specialists, all veterans or veteran spouses, gain clients’ trust then expertly, seamlessly, and equitably navigate them to vetted, reliable, and appropriate resources. They address unmet needs in N. Texas per TVC’s 2020 Needs Assessment: healthcare, clinical counseling, short-term financial assistance, and employment support; and remove key service barriers: understanding benefits, directing to high quality, affordable help, and following up on appointments.
