Veterans Treatment Court Services are provided by Nueces County, a City/Municipal Government based in Corpus Christi, Texas. Grant funding will be used to assist Veterans with unexpected needs that are critical to the veterans’ overall well-being such as utility and transportation expenses to domiciliary and allow them to focus fully on recovery. Additional funding requests will cover abstinence monitoring, counseling/treatment, program handbooks for all participants. Currently, Veterans must pay for all monitors and urinalysis at their own expense. This can create a hardship on participants and often trigger relapse.
