Nueces County was awarded a grant to provide Financial Assistance (Mortgage, Rent & Utility Payments; Transportation Assistance; Food Pantry Services; Funerals) services for Veterans; Veteran Dependent; Surviving Spouses. Nueces County is a County Government based in the South Texas Region. Assistance services is offered to veterans, their dependents, and surviving spouses who reside in Nueces County. Services offered will be assistance in mortgage (including escrow & payments in arrears), rental (including application fees, late fees & payments in arrears), utility payments for electric, water, gas, garbage (including connection & re-connection fees, late fees, & payment in arrears), food vouchers, funeral and transportation.
